THE GUIDE BEHIND YOUR NEXT OUTING

ABOUT
CARSHOWDIARIES

An independent car-show guide, built around one practical question: where can we see great cars next?

CarShowDiaries helps enthusiasts find dated car shows, Cars & Coffee meets and automotive gatherings in North and South Carolina. Our roots are in Charlotte, and our coverage is growing across the Carolinas.

We publish event information. We do not organize the listed shows or sell their tickets. The linked organizer or venue remains the best place for final attendance details.

What we cover

Our calendar includes source-backed, dated gatherings in the communities we currently cover. It is a curated starting point, not a complete list of every show in either state.

North Carolina

Explore listings around Charlotte and Concord, nearby communities, and the Triangle. State and city filters help narrow the full calendar.

South Carolina

Explore our growing selection of Upstate and Lowcountry events. Each listing identifies its actual city and venue so you can plan the drive.

DETAILS BEFORE THE DRIVE

How event information is checked

  1. Start with a dated source. We look for organizer or venue information. Some listings use a tourism bureau or community calendar; the source is identified on the event page.
  2. Check the practical details. We review the published date, Eastern time, venue, street address and admission information. Vehicle-entry fees and spectator admission are treated separately.
  3. Label uncertainty. If admission is not confirmed, we say so. We do not assume a recurring meet will happen simply because it ran in a previous month.
  4. Keep a path back to the source. Event pages link to the source and display a review date. That date records when the information was checked; it does not mean the organizer confirmed it again today.
  5. Review changes before publication. Submitted events enter private review. Confirmed corrections are reflected in the listing; a missing calendar entry or a weather forecast alone is not treated as a cancellation.

HELP KEEP THE CALENDAR USEFUL

Submit a show or a correction

Add an upcoming event

Use the submission form with the event’s date, hours, location, admission details and public organizer or venue link. Share public event information only.

A submission receipt means your details were received for review. It does not mean the event has been approved or published.

Correct an upcoming listing

Use the same form to send updated details. Start the event name with “Correction:” followed by the show’s name.

In the description, include the existing CarShowDiaries listing URL and explain what changed. Put the public source supporting the correction in the event website field. Include the corrected date, times and location in the form.

Send corrected event details →

Organizer contact name and email are kept in the private review queue and are not displayed in public event listings. We may use them to follow up about a submission.

What the photos represent

Current event-listing photos are illustrative automotive images. They are not presented as photographs taken at the named event, and they do not establish which vehicles will attend.

Event pages include this disclosure. If a relevant event photograph is verified for future use, it can be identified separately. We do not use illustrative photos as evidence that an event happened or that a particular vehicle will be there.

Using the guide

Why did an event disappear from upcoming results?

Events whose listed end time has passed are hidden from upcoming results. Their original detail pages can remain available. A disappearance from upcoming results alone is not a cancellation notice.

Does an empty search mean there are no car shows?

No. It means our calendar has no upcoming listing matching those filters. Try another date, city or event type, or suggest an event for review.

Where should I confirm tickets or vehicle registration?

Follow the source link on the event page. An organizer’s registration requirements, vehicle eligibility and ticket conditions may differ from spectator access.
